Chris Melin has been battling cancer for nearly a year with the help of his wife Amy, daughter Mackenzie, and additional family and friends. The cancer started in his appendix but has spread. With changing to permanent disability earlier this year, they have had extensive costs to maintain his health insurance and his employer's life insurance policy; and now the policy holds half the face value since he is no longer an employee. Chris went into the hospital at the end of September due to complications from the growth of the tumors.
Chris and Amy met in high school and both went on to serve the military and work in health care. Please consider supporting this family to offset their medical bills and expenses.
