Welcome to our CaringBridge site. We've created it to keep friends and family updated. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement during this time when it matters most   .Chris's story is an extremely sad one, Chris has  always been very healthy, active and full of energy until 6 weeks ago Chris began complaining his knee hurt, he began taking himself out of recess, baseball, basketball... He had an X-ray it was negative, He was scheduled for an MRI, and had an appt with his pediatrician.. His color was off and his energy was draining very quickly, on April 1st  bloodwork was done and they were told to take Chris  to Arnold Palmers, children's hospital in Orlando the next morning, on April 2 he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia  .  It is hard to imagine the challenges and difficulties both emotionally and financially that lie ahead for Chris's parents John Combs, Vero Beach High School Boys Lacrosse Coach, his wife Beth and his two older brothers Jack(11) and Nathan(7).

There is a Go Fund me page for Chris, Please share with your family and friends  Here is link https://www.gofundme.com/Caring4Chris?pc=fb_co_dashindex_w&rcid

Please keep us and especially Chris in your hearts and prayers everyday!!
