Background: Chris was involved in a single car accident on Thursday, Jan. 11th in the early morning hours on the way to work. There were no witnesses but it is believed that he hit the curb before the car rolled landing in the median. He was heading southbound on the feeder by Pruitt Road. Chris broke his neck at C5 and his back at T10 and shattered his right arm. He has 8 broken ribs, some in several pieces and a collapsed lung. He has a cardiac contusion and they are working to stabilize his heart rate and blood pressure. He is currently in ICU at Memorial Hermann. He had surgery to stabilize his neck. He will have two more surgeries in the coming weeks to stabilize his thoracic vertebrae and to repair his arm. He is in critical condition. He is intubated and unconscious. Prayers are appreciated!
Helpful Information:
1. Chris cannot have any visitors in his room! They are very concerned about infections and germs.
2. The ICU does not allow plants, flowers or food.
3. Please do not text Larissa before 10 am in the morning. She needs time in the morning to be updated from the doctors.
4. If you want to visit the hospital waiting area to see Larissa, please be sure to text her that you are heading that way to make sure she is available to visit with you.
Please pray for Chris to have total healing. It is going to be a long journey.
