On Wednesday April 13th, while visiting Detroit, Chris fell backwards and hit his head.  He suffered a traumatic brain injury amd underwent surgery to relieve bleeding on his brain.  It's been a slow process, but as of today, April 22nd, things are improving.  Chris has been on a ventilator until yesterday and sedated as well.  Though his sedation is currently minimal, it's enough such that Chris is asleep most of the day.  This morning, upon arrival at the hospital, Chris opened his eyes when we spoke to him, and looked from one person to another as we spoke to him.  He's not yet been able to communicate, but the nurse indicated to us that Chris was attempting to mouth words to him today.  These have been some of the most positive signs that we've had this far.

Return here from time to time for updates.
