Chris Allen

Chris was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Cancer in her right throat and neck in January 2018. She had a neck resection surgery on February 15th. This surgery went well and they were able to remove the tumors in her lymph nodes.  She had a slight complication start about a week after surgery that caused her extreme pain in her shoulder area. That has since gotten much better.  The next step in her treatment plan is chemo and radiation for 7 weeks, to kill the rest of the cancer cells that are at the base of her right tonsil.  The prognosis is good, the doctors say it is highly curable.
