Chris was diagnosed with Squamous Cell Cancer in her right throat and neck in January 2018. She had a neck resection surgery on February 15th. This surgery went well and they were able to remove the tumors in her lymph nodes.  She had a slight complication start about a week after surgery that caused her extreme pain in her shoulder area. That has since gotten much better.  The next step in her treatment plan is chemo and radiation for 7 weeks, to kill the rest of the cancer cells that are at the base of her right tonsil.  The prognosis is good, the doctors say it is highly curable. We appreciate any thoughts and prayers that you can send her way!
