On June 11, Chester went to a surgeon for a routine hernia repair. Two days later, he was in the ED at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, TX.. Within 15 minutes of arriving, his heart went in to AFib and his heart rate went over 200 bpms. After an attempt to shock his heart back into rhythm, his blood pressure went dangerously low. The next step was to put him on a ventilator to attempt to stabilize him. Since then, he's been in the hospital in Greenville battling the effects of sepsis and necrotizing faciitis that took hold of his body extremely quickly due to a perforation of the colon that happened during the original hernia surgery.
