In early January 2020, Cheryl was diagnosed as having a tumor in her left frontal lobe. The day after the diagnosis she was operated on at the Gulf Coast Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, Fl. We had just arrived in Ft Myers 7 days earlier. The tumor had been growing for some time, but was not diagnosed until we had been in Florida for a week. After almost two weeks in the surgical hospital and a rehab hospital in Ft Myers, Cheryl was released and will undergo radiation therapy.
