Hello friends and family of the Denis Family. This site has been created as a way for us to come together to support Cheryl, Jay, Ella and Lilly as they have done for many of us during difficult times.
As you know, Cheryl and Jay are the primary caregivers for Cheryl's mom, Sheila. They've spent much of their free time over the past several years taking care of two households -- grocery shopping, cooking, cleaning, picking up prescriptions, driving to/from doctor appointments, hospital visits, scheduling in-home care, etc. They are often at Sheila's home taking care of her basic needs, making sure she is comfortable and spending quality time with her.
Sadly, after being in and out of the hospital many times over the past year and a half, Sheila's health has rapidly declined. Her care has shifted to "comfort care" and she is currently on hospice care at home with her family by her side.
Please help us show Cheryl and Jay and their daughters how much we care about them during this emotional and difficult time. You can post a message of support for the family here on this Caring Bridge page or you can send a card to their home. If you have the time and resources, please sign-up to provide a home cooked meal, have a meal delivered by a local restaurant, or purchase a gift card to a favorite eatery.
