Blessings to you today my family and friends,
My breast cancer diagnosis is invasive pleomorphic lobular carcinoma as of 1/31/18. It loves to hide in very dense breast lobules and be undetectable. I have a long journey ahead of me.
Please take heed if you have very dense breasts and understand that this type of cancer will Not be detectable on a mammogram until after stage 2+. You must consult w/your doctor and ask for an Ultrasound/ MRI for early detection.
This could save your life. ... Pass it on please!
I view this diagnosis as just another unplanned "journey" in my life experience. I have a strong faith in my God in whom I trust alongside my great medical/oncology team @ Ross Breast Center of Tyler, Tx.
I choose Not to have a spirit of fear today but to Fight for a future bright w/ joys to come.
I am extremely blessed w/ my spouse, son & bonus daughter, 2 grandsons, mom, 3 sisters and a whole lot of family and friends. There is a lot of special joys ahead to share.
