Chelsea Bush Chelsea Bush

On Friday May 5th 2017 an unexpected Brain Aneurysm occurred with Chelsea. It was later identified that a blood vessel in the brain had ruptured and was soon airlifted to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND. Since arriving in Fargo, the staff had placed a coil inside the brain to stop the ruptured vessel from bleeding out. After the procedure was completed, the Doctors then placed a wire in her spine that transmits to the brain to drain the fluids that were inside. During this process the staff has placed her at high risk of seizures or a stroke due to the continuing  brain spasms that are periodically throughout the day. Currently Chelsea is on a high level of pain medications to try and help cope through they severe headaches but is far from a well recovery. The doctor expects Chelsea to be in the hospital a minimum of 3 weeks (told us 6-10 weeks typically) to think about a discharge date. Chelsea is responding to doctors orders and is aware of the situation that happened to her. We are currently taking difficult process day by day as the doctors complete CT scans and ultrasounds on her brain. The biggest thing we are hoping is that her body continues to tolerate positivly to the recovery process. It is still the early stages (Day 3- Mon May8th today) of recovery and are praying that she makes a full recovery soon. We are asking for a minimum of a prayer to help us through the ordeal. Chelsea is set to receive her AA degree on May 19th 2017 but will not be able to walk due to a long expected duration in the hospital. Thank you for your time to care and understand the situation and hope in any way that you are able to assist, even the slightest of your prayer. Thank you.
