Yesterday my son Chase was in a car accident. He's 19 and fighting for his life. He has a severe head injury and part of his skull has been removed. This is to allow his brain to heal. He is in a drug-induced coma to allow his body to rest. They are recommending 8 to 11 days to make sure he's ready for the next step. They have tried to lower his body temp to try to reduce the swelling. They say he will have months of recovery, and i refuse to see it any other way. Fight Chase fight! He is a strong healthy boy and has the fight in him.                                        We are at the University of Columbia hospital which is one of the best in Missouri. He has a teem of Dr's that are fighting with him. They have been amazing. Remember he is in ICU so Dr's say no flowers, but prayers are awesome.  Thank you to everyone
