Sunday, December 27th Char starts her journey to Houston for her bone marrow transplant at the MD Anderson Cancer Care Center. Jere and she will be staying at an extended stay hotel for the first 3 weeks, while she starts chemotherapy. After that Char will check into the hospital for a period of 4 weeks. Once she is released from the hospital Jere and she will be renting a house for at least 100 days in the Houston area as they must remain within 20 minutes of MD Anderson Cancer Care Center.
The goal of this site is to keep family and friends updated as to her progress. I (Kathy, Char's sister) will update this site on an ongoing basis. Well wishes and comments are welcomed, as Char will have access to these updates.
