Charlyn Herrick

Charlyn has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Angiosarcoma.  A 10cm mass on one lobe of her liver and numerous masses on another lobe.  At this stage surgery is not an option.  Projections at this time indicate anywhere from a few months up to a year at the current state.  Treatment options are being assessed.
Angiosarcoma is a cancer of the inner lining of blood vessels, and it can occur in any area of the body. The disease most commonly occurs in the skin, breast, liver, spleen, and deep tissue.

She also has dementia .  The short term memory seems to be the main issue at this time.
Dimentia
a chronic or persistent disorder of the mental processes caused by brain disease.

Lastly since she had at least two recorded heart attacks she now has a pacemaker.  She was flown to Lincoln a second time due to the bottom lead being misplaced but at this stage of the body it was decided not to try to relocate the lead as the risk was too great to take if this lead fails it will have to be moved.  At this time the pacemaker is functioning properly.

Char is currently living at Senior Living Choices in Curtis Nebraska with her cat Lady Apple Jack.
