After having flu-like symptoms for 8 days, on Friday 11/23/18 we took Charlie to an Urgent Care. They sent him to the Emergency Room. The ER processed labs and determined he needed transport to a Children’s Medical Center in Dallas.
Diagnosis came today, 11/25/18. Charlie is fighting B Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (BALL). Pediatric cancer is rare. This type of cancer has a proven protocol that is used at most children’s hospitals.
