Because of problems with memory and difficulty speaking, Charlie was seen for further evaluation by a Neurologist this week. An MRI of the brain was done and they found a mass. He was admitted to the hospital and is currently having surgery at Butterworth Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids.
The nurse gave us an update and said surgery was going as expected and they will be closing soon. Which is good news.
We will be posting further updates here as we learn more.
We will send update regarding visitors once we learn more as well.
