Charlie Curtis

Charlie's battle with throat cancer began 5 years ago with a squamous cell tumor of a tonsil. He was treated with chemo and radiation therapies and did well until a year ago when cancer was found again on the right side of his throat. He had surgery at the U of Miami. Several months later he began to notice pain on the left side but tests and scans were neg. until this spring. Yesterday he had a similar surgery on the left side, by the same surgeons who operated last year. They are fantastic as are all the staff at the University of Miami Hosp.
