On Friday, July 12th, Charley was hauling grain to Cargill when his trailer went onto the soft berm and overturned, flipping the semi truck.  Charley was found semi-conscious outside of the cab.  It appears he was able to crawl through the broken front windshield before collapsing.  He was transported to Washington Court House by ambulance and eventually on to Riverside in Columbus.  Tests revealed two broken cervical (neck) vertebrae (C5 and C7), but mercifully, no spinal cord damage.  He also suffered head trauma similar to a bad concussion, and several gashes on the back of his head.
