Charley Grace Woods

Charley Grace Woods was born May 29 at 6:08 pm. She weighed 8 lbs 7 ounces and was 20.5 inches long. Unlike most babies, Charley Grace had a rough start. We started out with a normal delivery, with everything progressing well, until it wasn’t. After several complications and a ruptured uterus, the delivery turned into an emergency c-section, and leaving Charley Grace and I both in critical condition. They were able to repair my uterus and I’ve been doing great since coming out of surgery! Because Charley Grace wasn’t breathing and was seizing, she was intubated and transferred to Memorial Medical NICU. After the longest week of our life and with much prayers, support, and Gods grace, she’s made great progress and is breathing on her own. The doctors said after the MRI reading that her brain appeared normal, so that was huge for us. We’re just taking it day by day at this point, but so far she’s done great, all praises to our God!!!
