Welcome to our CaringBridge website for our loved Charlene Blackmon Cole. We are using this site to keep family and friends updated all in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Rosser (Bucky) , Karen, Kathy, Kristi and Charlie hope you keep her in your thoughts and prayers during these difficult times. We will hope to update you all as time permits. A few months ago , Charlene was starting to have difficulty with oxygen levels and her doctor put on oxygen 24/7. In December she was diagnosed with pneumonia and hospitalized before Christmas. During her hospitalization she was diagnosed with Stage 4 Ovarian Cancer that has metastasized to lung and lower abdominal area. She spent the holidays in the hospital and has started her first of 8 chemotherapy treatments. We will post entries along her journey forward.
