Charissa started dealing with Covid symptoms last week and as time progressed her symptoms just got worse. She got IV treatments Tues and Wed when she went in to her family doctor. Wednesday night, her breathing became more labored and they went in to the Ephrata ER. By morning she was intubated and put on a ventilator. Because she is 27 weeks pregnant, she was then transferred to Hershey Medical in case treatment would trigger the birth of the baby. She is in stable, but critical condition. At this point, no one, not even her husband Arlin is able to be with her.
