Air hockey with Brian. He has to wear the helmet when he's out of bed to prevent injury since the skull flap hasn't been replaced yet.

Welcome to Chance's CaringBridge website. It'll help keep family/friends updated in one place.  Kristen can't reply to all the calls/texts. She appreciates your prayers and encouragement. Please tell Chance's friends about this site, too.

As you probably already know,  on Monday, August 15th Chance fell from a rooftop he was working on in Johnson City, TN and suffered severe brain injury in addition to multiple broken bones. Emergency surgery had to be performed to relieve the swelling and bleeding of the brain. He was put into a medically induced coma for a few days to allow for the brain to heal. This is a critical situation.

UPDATE: Chance  was in a hospital in Johnson City for about three weeks with his Mama, Kristen by his side. The first week of September he was transferred to the Shepherd Center in Atlanta which is one of the top brain and spine rehab centers in the country.

I'm his aunt, Myra and I live in Atlanta so I'll keep you updated on his progress as he recovers. So far his recovery has been amazing! Keep those prayers coming!
