This site is all about the journey to bring Cecelia into our home and make her a member of our family.
We found Cecelia on the DeColores Adoptions website in early March 2005 and fell in love in an instant. Those beautiful eyes first pulled on Jason's heart strings and he then couldn't imagine life without her. Once he showed her picture to me and we weighed all the options of adopting a toddler vs. a newborn, there was no question we wanted her to be a part of our family.
Cecelia was given up for adoption by her birth mother in mid-February due to poverty. We can not imagine her pain and courage to make such a decision. Now the wait....
