Cathy Fullerton Cathy's Cancer Journey

First post: Mar 26, 2017 Latest post: Mar 15, 2018
On March 15th our lives were forever changed when our wife, Mother, Sister and Friend was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.  We are on a journey we wish not to be on but with God's grace we will get through.  We do not understand why this is happening to one of the kindest most generous people we know however God is a part of all this and has opened some amazing doors. We have to remember there is a reason for everything. Cathy will be treated by Dr. HC Kim and Dr. Autumn Mcree from the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center out of Chapel Hill but most importantly will be able to receive Chemotherapy locally in Wilmington from Dr. John Anagnost.  Amazingly she will start chemotherapy on Tuesday, March 28th less than two weeks when we received the diagnosis. Everyone wants to know what they can do to help...PRAY! Prayers are what we need the most. Our Mom has an amazing faith and together we are facing this as a family.  As we move forward we will let you know what you can do when a need arises, for now a hug, a card or an encouraging message on this page are always welcome .  We will continue to up date this page as her treatment progresses. Thank you for the prayers, we can feel them.
