Hi, Everyone,

Thank you for joining friends and family in sharing my most recent wild journey.

Very briefly:
Annual mammogram: Dec. 14, 2016
Second mammogram and ultrasound: Friday, January 6
Biopsy of 4 areas: Monday, Jan. 7
Consultation with surgeon: Wednesday, Jan. 9
Results:Cancer in 3 areas of left breast tissue and 1 lymph node
All 4 considered infiltrating ductile carcinoma.
  Most likely Stage 2.
Most likely treatment: chemo, surgery, radiation, hormone therapy
  Pet Scan: Tuesday, Jan. 17
  Oncologist appointment: Wednesday, Jan. 18
  Breast MRI: Monday, Jan. 23
Final protocol recommended will be based on all the above data.

Surprisingly, I feel calm, confident, and strong in spirit and health. Bob, Molly, Joe, Ava and Jack stand firmly with me in meeting this challenge. So many of you have already offered your generous time and personal gifts in supporting the eradication and healing from this disease. In advance, I thank you with all my heart.

The site is named "My Wild Journey" in fond memory of my mother's dad, my grandaddy, Dr. W. W. Wild. This journey may be wild at times, however, I also believe there is great wisdom, gratitude, laughter, faith building, and deepening of relationships which already have appeared along the way.

It is with the blessings of grace, peace, and love that I invite you to share in companionship along my wild journey.

Cath
