Catherine has been diagnosed with late stage 2 breast cancer. Her specific diagnosis is infiltrating ductal carcinoma. She is triple positive, meaning estrogen, progesterone and HER2 positive. It is aggressive but it was caught early. Chemo started May 22 and lasts for 18 weeks. She is strong, but this road will be long. Hopefully this site will help keep you updated so she does not have to answer 100 phone calls and texts a day. She needs a lot of rest during this journey.
