Last Friday, June 2nd, Cass was taken to the ER due to some fluttering he was feeling in his chest. He was checked out and released. His condition is the same as when he was released from SF. They are monitoring him closely and don't mess around with any slight changes that may occur. The ER wonders why the VA hospital is waiting so long to do the stents even with a blood clot, so they are going to check into that and see if the appointment can be moved up. Currently we aren't arranging any meals or help at this time, but feel free to contact them through this site if you want to provide some support or words of hope and encouragement!

May 2017 Just a little over two months ago Cass was misdiagnosed with having GERD when in actuality he had had a heart attack. Still not feeling well, Cass went to a doctor's appointment and they immediately put him in the hospital. He is currently at home and on bed rest taking medications to dissolve a blood clot in his heart. They just scheduled his stent procedure for July.
