Thanks to some caring friends Cassie was found on April 7th on her apartment floor after being unconscious for potentially up to two days. She was brought to Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI where she was found to have a Blood Sugar reading of 1150 and a Temp of 90.7 degrees putting her into a diabetic coma and having hypothermia, as well as being very dehydrated and having ketoacidosis. She also had a small brain bleed, but they don't seem to be concerned that it will be a problem. Although they have gotten her blood sugar down and temperature up, there remains a long way to go for Cassie to find her way back to wellness. There have been many small improvements showing us how hard she is working to get better. Her blood pressure and heart rate have improved greatly, her potassium levels have gone down and her white blood cell count has improved. Please continue to pray for Cassie, as well as her family. We have a long road to travel together!
