Cassidy was diagnosed with an adult liver cancer two weeks before her 8th birthday. She fought for 23 months.

In our hearts you're always there every night a little prayer for our little girl is no longer near the voice of an angel I will always hear.
Cass's Angel Day was January 11th, 2010

Baby Girl, I hope your new home is full of creatures great and small and everything is bright and beautiful.

Be sure to read the latest in the journal, view the photo gallery, and drop us a line in the guestbook.

Cass was born March 2, 2000.

Cass was a very healthy little girl, besides her brothers I didn't know of a healthier child.  The fall of 2007 Cass started to slim down, I didn't think anything of it since both Jesse and Taylor are very slim.

January 15, 2008 Cass stayed home from school cause she  wasn't feeling well. January 20th and 25th Cass suffered from headaches and vomiting, Headaches with vomiting run in the family so I wasn't too worried. January 31st, February 5th, 8th and 10th were days that Cass felt yucky with more vomiting. I also noticed Cass had a lump on her stomach and had lost more weight. I saw Cass everyday so the weightloss wasn't so noticeable to me and nobody else commented on it. Upon seeing the lump on Cass's stomach I thought it was a muscle from the vomiting. I did decide now it was time to make Cass a Dr.s appt.

In February of 2008 Cassidy was diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma. HCC is a very very rare pediatric tumor.

Cass lives in Cloverdale, BC with her mom, dad, brothers (Jesse 15 and Taylor 12 1/2), the cats Buzz and Jack and her beautiful crowned tipped fighting fish Jewel.

Cass loves to read !! Enjoys arts and crafts, the beach, the mountains and anything to do with animals, ocean life, dragons, reptiles, bugs, etc., she loves to learn ! Cass also enjoys playing her ds and spending time with her brothers.

She is a feisty redhead that makes life challenging and should always wear camo because she is such a fighter.
