About 3 weeks ago.. (June 20 I think) Nick had a friend over for night n they cooked breakfast over the fire... I’ve always been a firebug n a little later in the day I decided to see if I could revive those coals... gas seemed to be the best option, I mean after all I’ve seen big people use it. My Dad and Mom still don’t know exactly what happened, but my shoe caught on fire, burned a hole in it and flamed up my leg. Luckily when I ran inside Nick threw my shoe out the door and Jared stomped out the fire on the carpet n then Mom gave me ibuprofen n stuck my leg in a bucket of water all the way to the hospital. She was worried cuz I didn’t cry and didn’t act like it hurt... they debrided it some and consulted with the burn center. We didn’t have to come down to Salt Lake University of Utah Burn Outpatient till about 4 days later, we were told how to continue dressing it and come back in 2 weeks... which brings us to today.. hopefully we don’t have to use this for more than a week or so, but it will be a lot easier than trying to keep up with all the messages.
