Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.  Carter was life flighted to Primary Children's Hospital on Monday, February 21th.  When he left Bozeman he was having severe breathing issues.  Carter has a mass that is surrounding his trachea and the surrounding arteries that is cutting off his air supply.  The doctors have been trying to reduce the size of the growth with large amounts of steroids so that they could do a biopsy.  They gave up hope of being able to sedate Carter to do the biopsy and finally did a local while Carter was awake.  In true  Carter fashion he said, "my eye hurt worse than that when I got  brake fluid squirted in it." :) The doctors where impressed with his humor and ability to  cope.  He has since been diagnosed with a non-Hodgkin's lymphoma B cell.  As we begin this battle we thank each and everyone of you for your support.  Thank you for loving not only Carter but our whole family.
