Carrie reports "I was misdiagnosed with a rectal fissure just before I left for my sabbatical in India. After three months of increasing pain, I went in for surgery and woke up to a diagnosis of cancer. Rolly and I decided to return to the states for treatment. We are sometimes scared, still a little “betwixt and between,” and eternally grateful for good doctors and loving friends".
