Hi  Welcome to Carrie's Caring Bridge website.  We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place.  Carrie was diagnosed with Stage 1 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, the most common form of breast cancer, in February.  She and Paul decided to keep this information quiet until a definitive plan was in place.  After what felt like forever, Carrie was able to meet with her care team at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in the Boston Area in mid March.  The mastectomy surgery is scheduled for April 29th.  The boys DO NOT know yet.  They will be told the weekend of April 10th.
