Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. 


This is Pat Tesauro-Jackson, a close friend of Carolyn & Dave.  They have asked that I set up this website to keep you all informed.  Things have happened so fast, I think many of us are speechless and in shock...it feels like the Twilight Zone.


Carolyn was recently diagnosed with uterine cancer.  It has metastasized to the bones in her pelvis and her lungs.


Carolyn was not doing well last night.  She was in a lot of pain and could not keep anything down.  Dave did not feel she could wait until Friday to see the surgeon for a consult.  He called their PCP this morning, who called the surgeon and they were able to get her seen today.  The surgeon immediately admitted her to the hospital.  She is in Swedish, Room 5137.  


I stopped in to see her this evening and was thrilled to see her in good spirits, with a wonderful smile on her face, out of pain and ordering food!  Carolyn is very positive about her surgeon, and anxious to have the surgery, to remove her uterus.  They will find out more tomorrow as to when the surgery will occur.
