Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

Carolyn was sick in December with bouts of the flu and sinus infections.  In the  process of getting treatments, she was hospitalized for approximately 19 days.   She was first in Lakeland Regional and then was transferred to Tampa General.

After many blood tests and labs, She was diagnosed with stage 4 Lymphoma on January 5th, 2017.  She began chemo treatments on Saturday, January 7th.  She did well with her first treatments and was able to go home on January 9th, just in time to rest some before  watching the Clemson/Alabama National Championship.    She  rooted for Clemson Tigers with all her garb on.

She is in good spirits and glad to be home.   She will be going to Moffitt Cancer Center getting chemo treatments for approximately 6 months with one treatment a month.   During these months, she will be very susceptible to infection,   so please understand that we are asking for no visitors during this time.  However, she has learned to FaceTime......

She appreciates all the love, support and prayers from all who have honored her with them so far and ask to please keep her in prayer in the coming months as she goes through this journey.
