Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting. My journey is just beginning, but I am strong and I will get though this! So many others have faced this before me and I know the power of prayer, so thank you in advance for praying for me. I was diagnosed with breast cancer on May 7, 2018. My surgery will be on May 11, 2018. It is rapid growing and we will know much more after the double mastectomy. Since I now live in Wisconsin, I will stay with my sister and brother in law for a couple of weeks before I head back to Wisconsin to prepare to move to Sioux Falls so that I will be closer to my doctors for treatment. The journey will be long but I have a positive attitude and a great team of doctors to help me get through this. My sister, Bev Mader will help me out writing journals for me. My new moto is stay strong! God is good and he will be by my side!
