Mom has always been more concerned with others and therefore didn't let on how ill she has become. Between the malabsorption caused by her colitis and the energy requirements needed to simply breathe, she has lost a great deal of weight and is very weak. As a result, she has fallen multiple times, this last time ended up with her being hospitalized. She now has end-stage COPD and our primary goal is for her to be comfortable and to die with dignity. As a charter member of Hospice of Central PA, this has always been a very important part of nursing for her. Please check back here for updates, we will be sure to keep you informed. If you would like to visit mom, feel free to text Kristin at 717-421-2411 just to make sure she doesn't have any appointments scheduled. We're so thankful for your prayers and support.

Love, Kris & Tracie
