I am sorry to say that we got some very heart breaking news yesterday (March 30, 2017). Carol has be valiantly fighting the return of her breast cancer. She was taken to the ER with severe abdominal pain that could not be controlled by her current medications. After doing a CT scan of her abdomen, we were told that the cancer had spread all over her belly. Her liver, pancreas, and abdominal wall are now covered in cancer lesions. We are waiting to hear from her doctors what the next step is. Since caring for her will keep our family pretty busy we are going to use this CaringBridge site to help keep all of the many people who love her so much up-to-date with what is going on. As we know more we will post it here. Please feel free to post and interact here, and we will make sure Carol sees it all.
