She is known to us as mom, grandma, daughter, sister, friend, etc. and while she has been there for so many in their time of need, it's now our turn to support her in the challenging journey she has ahead of her. After a few months of mild, intermittent, abdominal discomfort, poor appetite, and unintended weight loss, a CT scan showed a mass on her pancreas and, upon further testing, she was diagnosed with pancreatic adenocarcinoma. A very caring and competent team at the University of Minnesota will provide the best possible treatment for her.
