Welcome to Carol's CaringBridge website. We set it up to keep family and friends updated about her heart surgery and recovery, all in one place.

Carol's surgery is scheduled for Monday, February 11, 2019.  She will undergo open heart surgery to replace her mitral valve, at University of Michigan Frankel Cardiovascular Center. Following her successful surgery, she will spend a week in the hospital, starting off in in the cardiology ICU, until she is moved to the main hospital. After a week she will return home, and immediately begin rehab.
