Hello! We are so glad you are here to support Carole in her journey through liver transplantation and recovery.  We are so appreciative of your encouragement and prayers as we navigate this as a family.

For those of you just joining us, Carole became septic due to a bleeding ulcer in early March 2022 which was exacerbated by a pain medication she was taking for a back injury.  The toxins in her body from the ulcer and sepsis threw her kidneys and liver "out of whack" so to speak.   With her liver and kidneys working extra hard to filter the toxins, they began to fail.  As a result of these events, she was transferred to UCLA Medical Hospital to be evaluated for a liver transplant in the hopes that a new liver would help her kidneys recover.   She will soon undergo a liver transplant, and then the real journey to recovery begins.

We thank God for His peace, guidance, and His gift in sending us such an amazing and supportive community to surround our family.  He never forsakes us in difficult times, and we feel His nearness even now.

We will be updating this site regularly so that you - our INCREDIBLE friends and family- can support us with specific prayers to the Lord for healing for Carole, wisdom for her team of awesome doctors and nurses, and strength for her immediate family.
