Carole Brown

Carole, a mother, teacher, and friend. She is loving, caring, strong, courageous and fun!

Carole has battled cancer 3 different times throughout the last 25 years before recently being diagnosed with advanced melanoma.

She is a fighter, a warrior.

Six years ago, Carole had surgery on her right ankle to remove the melanoma. Recently she noticed a swollen lymph node that resulted in multiple test to confirm the cancer is in her lymph nodes, lower vertebrae and in her bones in her right leg.

She is undergoing immunotherapy to see if the cancer will shrink and slow the progression. Carole has completed 2 immunotherapy treatments with minimal side effects. Her last treatment they added a bone strengthener to help with the cancer in her bones.

Carole appreciates all the love and encouragement from family and friends. It means the world that she is not fighting alone. As we all are going through difficult times, it’s comforting to know we have extended family to get through our difficult times.
