On August 29th Carole was taken to ER due to uncharacteristic behavior. The doctors decided to do a CT scan which showed a very large clot on the right side of her brain. It was determined that immediate surgery was necessary. The Neuro Surgeon was able to remove this clot but is unable to identify the cause as of now. They do know it was a stroke just not the initial cause. We do know there is some damage but until she is able to come off sedation we won't be able to know the severity.
