Hi, thank you for checking up on me. I am scheduled for surgery on Monday, Jan. 14th at 10 AM for the removal of the tumor on my pancreas and relief of the pressure on my squished liver. The surgery is quite involved and in the best case scenario will take 4 hours, but it's often a bit longer. I would appreciate prayers for my surgical team at St. David's South (James Casey Hospital) in Austin headed by Dr. Fuller. They say I may be in ICU, at least at first. The hospital stay is about a week, but could be a bit more. They tell me that this kind of surgery does NOT allow me to accommodate visitors readily, so I will enjoy your messages here and on email (cjcrev@aol.com). Thanks for the cards I have already received. I will look forward to visiting after I go home. Thank you for the prayers.
