 I’d appreciate everyone’s prayers for me and for our family. On Oct 11, 2018 I was evaluated and diagnosed with a brain tumor. We are unsure of it’s exact nature until I have a biopsy and tumor removal next week. I am currently home (922 Bonny Ln, Mechanicsburg PA 17055). Needless to say it’s been an overwhelming and emotional week. Our family has been able to be together and we are praying for God to keep us strong. At this point I request PRAYER for the least damage and best recovery possible. I don’t mind visitors before my surgery(tentatively 10/22) but will be in ICU after surgery for a couple of days. This seems to be completely different from the cancer diagnosis from last year. It’s a little hard for me to type and communicate with emails but I will try, and am setting up this site so Mark and the family can keep everyone updated. I am scared, of course, but confident in God and know that with His strength I will be able to face what comes next. Mark and the kids have been nothing short of amazing, I could not be more grateful. The support and love from friends, family, and the community is so encouraging! Just an update: The tumor was found to be a metastatic lesion and I will find out more at follow up tomorrow as far as ongoing treatment. I am remarkably fortunate that this was found and treated, that I am intact physically and mentally and recovering at an amazing pace. The love we are being shown is beyond touching and we are very grateful. I'm up and about but resting as needed. Thank you all for your ongoing prayers!
