As many of you know, Carmen Sakai has been undergoing cancer treatment. She was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma in late October. After undergoing her second round of chemotherapy she experienced some complications including fever and low blood pressure - and she was hospitalized in ICU over Thanksgiving. Since being admitted to hospital, she has undergone observation and care to receive antibiotics and fluids, as well as a blood transfusion. Following this, doctors then decided to intubate Carmen to reduce the stress on her body to allow for aided rest and recovery.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers. We'll continue to keep this page updated so everyone can stay informed and connected. The extended Sakai and Williams families pray for healing, understanding and patience, for peace of her mind and soul and continued trust in God's plan for all. They would like to thank all those that have prayed and continue to pray for Carmen and her beloved family and to all of you who have reached out to check on her welfare.
