Carmen Kuan

Welcome to our CaringBridge website for Carmen.  On Saturday, July 9, Carmen was cycling home from visiting a friend when she hit a pothole and lost control of her bike. The result was a broken right tibia (lower leg), a broken left ankle, and a cracked lower vertebrae. She's through the surgery but has a long recovery in front of her.  She will need to be off her legs completely in a wheel chair for 8-10 weeks and then on crutches for another 8-10 weeks.

Carmen will need all the help of her friends and family. For those of us who are fellow cyclists, we know the risks we take each time we get on the bike. Now is our time to pitch in and help someone who needs our love and support.   We created this site to help get Carmen through some really challenging weeks. Please offer to help her out by signing up on the calendar for a meal, a drive somewhere, some grocery shopping, or more. Also, consider making a donation to her GoFundMe site to help with expenses during her recovery time.
