On March 1st, 2021 Carly was diagnosed with the very rare nueroendocrine cancer of the lung. She immediately had surgery removing most of her right lung. After an intense week in the ICU/hospital she was allowed to go home for recovery.
Within 2 months - her lung function decreased. She had to have fluid removed, go onto oxygen and suffer a debilitating setback. She went on to have 2 embolism near her heart.
In October - she was diagnosed with early cervical cancer and had severe symptoms from her endometriosis which went untreated during her blood clot treatment. It was determined that another surgery was needed.
On March 9th, she will be admitted to the hospital. The recovery time is 6-8 weeks. In that time, the family needs some help.
