Welcome to our CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting.

We wanted to get this Caring Bridge site up and running so that friends and family of our dad - Carl Satrom - can stay in touch with how he’s doing and so we can read to him any thoughts, prayers or encouragements you might send him.

Dad has had Parkinson’s for nearly 10 years now and he and Mom - Marie Satrom - have moved into an assisted living apartment at Ecumen Sand Prairie in St Peter, Mn.  About two weeks ago, in addition to the care Mom and the Sand Prairie staff provide, Dad began to receive hospice care.  He is good hands and has a great sense of humor with the caregivers!

We are so grateful that he was able to spend so much of his retirement years hiking, painting, playing cards and volunteering as a Gideon as well as visiting with so many friends, neighbors and family.  While he fondly remembers his active life and great relationships,  in this current season, which unfortunately includes the Covid 19 season too, both our Mom & Dad look forward to your connection with them through this site.

So please feel free to leave a message or note and we will make sure that Dad hears it!

Thank you,

Harlan, Merlin, Lauren Satrom & Laurie Armon
