Hey Everyone, I will try to give you a brief update on everything that is going on.
Dad hasn't been feeling the best off and on for the last few months but on June 18th he ended up in the ER with fatigue and troubled breathing. The doctor ordered an x-ray which showed lumps on the lobes of his lungs. The Doctor ran a few more tests, but we had to wait for the appointment with an Oncologist the following Monday.
On Monday, June 21st we met with an Oncologist and learned that he has Stage 4 Metastatic Adenocarcinoma (Colorectal Cancer) with tumors in the colon, liver and lungs. A biopsy was scheduled for Tuesday, June 29. After a rough July 4th weekend, Dad went to the hospital with colon cancer symptoms. He was admitted for 2 days and discharged late Tuesday evening.
Dad has his good days and his bad days, but for the most part is still strong and loving life. We covet your prayers as we decide how to move forward with treatment plans. Thank you for caring!
