It all started in March 2015. I was having unbearable headaches. In a week and a half I was having emergency brain surgery to remove a fist size tumor. It was a  stage 4 glioblastoma. Very shocking. After radiation and chemo for over a year with mri showing it wasn't coming back we thought all was looking good. Then in December 2016 the mri showed a tumor coming back. What a shock as I was feeling so good. My best ever since treatments. Now surgery is scheduled for January 20, 2017 to remove the small growth. We signed up for a randomized trial that involves a virus injected into the brain and then a drug given to activate the virus that in turn attacks the remaining cancer cells. There is only a 50 percent chance of getting the trial. The Dr's are all very excited about this trial. If not on the trial it will be more chemo. Not what we are looking forward to.  Please pray that everything turns out well.
